There is a known compatibility issue with Microsoft Word 2016 and Endnote X7 on Mac OS that affect the Cite While You Write (CWYW) function. 1. Launch Word 2016 in Applications > Microsoft Word
2. If prompted, install Automatic Updater update
3. Allow Automatic Update to update Word 2016 to the latest version (15.23.1 or greater)
4. Close Word 2016 after the update has completed
