So I recently picked up an ancient Graphire tablet secondhand. I always see Wacom tablets in thrift shops, but this was the first time I'd seen one with the pen included. I figured I had enough old computers that one of them would be compatible with the thing.I first tried my 2012 MacBook Pro. It lit up and the computer could use the tablet as a mouse (constantly clicking of course). I installed the driver, only to find that the driver wouldn't recognize the tablet.

Hero rising beta test game. It gave me a 'No supported tablet was found' error. I figured it was the age of the tablet and the fact that my MBP is running Sierra. I tried again using a 2004 PowerBook G4 12', but the same thing happened. I installed the Wacom preference panel multiple times using various versions of the driver. It always gave me the 'not found' error.I used a 1999 iBook G3 clamshell running Mac OS 9. I tried a Dell Pentium 4 machine running XP. All give me the same error.Is the tablet bunk, and that's why it was thrifted in the first place?
